After purchasing my first home, I decided that it would be nice to treat myself to a new living room and dining room set. Living on a limited budget (as most of us do) I found Sofa Express to be reasonably priced, with products that were fairly constructed. During this purchase I was given the oportunity to buy the extended warranty contract. Normally, I would decline on such an offer, but being that the furniture was light in color, pourus, and the warranty included fabric protection, with a 100% replacement or money back gift coupon at the end of the warranty, it was a no brainer. That is until the company went under and took off with my rebate cash! After many calls to unworking phone numbers, I finally reached someone who basically stated that "Master Seal" (the company that Sofa Express used for fabric protection) would send someone out to clean the furniture if necesary. How about the rebate cash? Or the pillow and cushion replacement I was promised? Or... How about a class action lawsuit to hold this company accountable? No wonder consumer confidence is at an all time low. No pride, and no acountability!

I purchased sectional from Sofa Express

In Feb.2008 Out of Business Sale. However

unable to locate a working number to use

my service warranty for cleaning.

This is very unprofessional and poor-customer service.

I purchased a sofa bed from Sofa Express almost a year ago. My cushions are in bad shape, it looks as if they just folded up cushions and threw them in. The zippers don't work and I'm embarrassed to have the sofa in my house. I have no idea who to contact since none of the numbers work. Does anyone have a number that might help me reach someone??

I also purchased a 3-piece leather sofa and the extended warranty, which included free cleaner and polisher for the life of the furniture and also replacement for the life of the furniture. However, now I am also out of luck with the closing of Sofa Express. They told me I could call the manufacturer, which I did and was told that I could buy the cleaner kit for $29.95. What a rip-off!!!
